Reverend Timothy P. Taylor Sr. is a father of three children, Norel, Timothy Jr., and Tarrance, and he has been married to his wife, Gail since 1989. They reside in Brooklyn, New York. He retired from his position as a NYC Correction Officer after twenty years in civil service in September of 2001. Reverend Taylor was licensed on June 9, 2002, and Ordained on May 29,2005 by Rev. Larry W. Camp at Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was elected Pastor of Hebron Baptist Church on May 7, 2006. Reverend Taylor graduated with Honors in May of 2005 with his B.A. degree in Psychology from the College of New Rochelle. Reverend Taylor is presently attending Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary studying for a Master of Arts in Theological Studies. Reverend Taylor is active in the National Baptist Convention USA, Empire Baptist Missionary State Convention, Eastern Baptist Association, and the Baptist Pastors and Churches Union of Brooklyn, Long Island and Vicinities; where he presently holds the elected position of 1st Vice President. Reverend Taylor feels he was commanded as in 2 Timothy 4:2, “Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage–with great patience and careful instruction.”
